Service Skills SA (SSSA) is the business name for Service Skills Industry Alliance Inc. (SSIA) a non-profit association and one of nine Industry Skills Boards (ISBs) in South Australia.
SSSA cover's four industry sectors:
- Arts
- Sport & Recreation
- Retail & Wholesale
- Personal Services
Industry Skills Boards are strategic facilitators to help their industry sectors and government explore and plan for emerging skills and workforce issues. Our main focus is in Vocational Education (VET), but we also work with schools and tertiary educations on pathways. We also facilitate, manage and support collaborative projects run with industry, TAFE, private Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and other vocational skills stakeholders.
We receive base funding through the State Government's Department of Further Education Employment Science and Technology (DFEEST).
