Are you keen to work in South Australia’s Events Industry or gain those additional skills that will assist you to strengthen your career prospects in this dynamic and growing sector? If so, then the Adelaide Events Crew 2017 program is for you!

This training program has been developed by industry and is supported through WorkReady by the Government of South Australia and consists of an intensive accredited and non-accredited training program which will commence in October 2017.

Participants will also be provided with the opportunity to connect with key industry leaders while receiving assistance in securing employment or gaining additional work.

The intensive training program will consist of the following which will not only enable participants to acquire the necessary skills but also the obligatory industry tickets:

CPCCOHS1001A — Work safely in the construction industry (White card)
HLTAID003 — Provide first aid
RIIHAN301D — Operate elevating work platform (Yellow card)
TLILIC2001 — Licence to operate a forklift truck
RIIWHS205D — Control traffic with stop-slow bat
RIIWHS302D — Implement traffic management plan
2 week Staging, Audio, Vision and Lighting Event Skills Workshop

To be able to participate in the program you must:

  • Be aged 17 years or over
  • Not be enrolled at school
  • Be unemployed or under employed (working 17 hours or less per week)
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or a permanent Australian resident or live in South Australia and have full work rights with no Visa conditions / restrictions.
