URGENT Industry Input Required to WorkReady Subsidised Training List

Service Skills SA urgently needs our industry stakeholders to input into the current WorkReady subsidised training list survey. If we do not respond to this survey it is likely that a number of our qualifications will receive no or low levels of funding. This is particularly critical to those qualifications (including beauty, floristry, retail, sport, fitness & recreation, libraries and the arts) that have been deemed as having low public value.

Please provide feedback through the online survey by 5 pm on 20 April 2015.

The Service Skills SA industry qualifications listed in the survey can be viewed docxhere. These courses have been listed because they have shown little or no enrolment activity or have been assessed as having low public value against strategic economic priorities.

Under Work Ready, government funding will target critical courses in strategic industry sectors.

Work Ready is the new strategic policy for skills, training and employment activity and investment in South Australia and will be replacing Skills for All on the 1st July.

Please contact us if you have any questions and if you have any specific comments you would like us to pass onto the Department of State Development executives responsible for WorkReady.
