Productivity Places Program - Funding to upskill job seekers

The Productivity Places Program Job Seeker 2011 tender has now opened.  The tender will be open from Monday 25th October until Friday 19th November 2010 at 5:00pm.

Productivity Places Program funds training places for job seekers to raise their skill level and gain nationally endorsed qualifications, at Certificate II to Diploma level. The applicant must have a current ABN and be one of the following:
  • Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
  • Public, private and non-government/community enterprise
  • Job Services Australia provider
  • Employer
  • Industry Body/Association
  • Employee or employer association
  • Other organisation with a clear role in workforce development
All proposals must demonstrate partnership with a Job Services Australia provider(s). Industry sector skill priorities will be targeted. A list of current priority areas is available on the Productivity Places Program website (link below).  Priority will be given to training at Certificate III level or above.
