SIB10 Case Studies

 

The following footage provides you with an insight to three case studies that were examined during the original workshop facilitated by Karen Banks.  For ease of reference, download a copy of the case studies below, and then listen to the responses and discussion. Keep in mind that there are often a number of scenarios that can be applied to each case study, depending on the learner and the Registered Training Organisation.

 

Case Study 1

A team of trainers are planning to deliver the SIB10 Diploma of Beauty Therapy and need to address the Assessor Requirements and Assessment Guidelines required.

Case Study 2

This Case Study takes a good look at developing specific learning plans and pathways for learners with a desire to enter the Beauty Industry. Issues that arose from discussions included having to deal with 'unrealistic expectations' in relation to training and the desired outcomes of potential Beauty Students.

Case Study 3

Flexibility and Gap Analysis/Gap Training is examined in this Case Study, to outline the number of options a Registered Training Organisation can offer to individuals either entering the Beauty Industry for the first time, existing workers, or those who may be looking at re-entering the workforce.
