Employability Skills Employability Skills describe generic non-technical skills and competencies that form an important part of effective and successful participation in the workplace. They are not a new concept but are given greater emphasis in current Training Packages. In this video Marina Borrello discusses employability skills and their presence in Training Packages in the current VET climate. Discussion also revolves around the facets of employability skills, linkages to specific job roles in industry and the fact that assessment of employability skills should occur holistically.
