Project Structure
Management
Project Team - The team consists of the Project Manager, Service Skills SA Executive Officer, Project Staff and a Finance Person. The team meets every month to review progress, discuss issues and share knowledge.
In addition the Project Manager prepares monthly progress reports for presentation to the SSSA Board.
This structure ensures that a greater number of industry representatives are involved with the project, in addition to broader technical advice from allied industry personnel or external experts being able to be incorporated on an as needs basis.
Industry engagement
To ensure greater industry engagement and tighter control over the project's development the following structures have been put in place:
Industry Reference Group (IRG) - Members are high profile industry leaders, mostly enterprises, with some Registered Training Organisations and other stakeholders (industry associations).
Specialist Groups (SG) - Are designed for specific project purposes to provide technical advice on aspects of the project. They are comprised of a mixture of industry, RTOs and other stakeholders. Four groups have been established and they include:
- Recognition of Prior Learning
- Marketing (including Career resource)
Branding
A consistent key brand and message flows through all aspects of the project.
The Retail Executive brand logo was designed to:
- be simple, instantly recognisable and contemporary
- signify upward progress (individual and industry)
- be accepted & identifiable with industry, youth and mature aged
- suggest a high level professionalism
- carry through all aspects of the project
